Sunset Readings is a not-for-profit organization focused on bringing literary programs to our community. Noticing a need for literary programs, Ivy Meeropol and Rebekah Tighe formed Sunset Readings in 2008.

The Sunset Readings literary series is held at The Chapel Restoration, a beautiful nineteenth-century historical building situated on the banks of the Hudson River in Cold Spring, New York.  Our inaugural reading in summer, 2008 proved that the beauty of the chapel building, the serene space within and the dramatic backdrop of the Hudson, was an exciting venue for both the writer and the audience. The unique setting encourages connection and interaction between artist and community in addition to being an ideal place to hear the spoken word.
